LAWRENCE - CLARENCE RIVER

Public BBQ

The park's recent playground redesign has proven controversial among families with young children. What was once a versatile play space accommodating various age groups has been replaced with equipment that poses accessibility challenges for toddlers and preschoolers. The new installation features design elements that limit usability for smaller children, a departure from its predecessor's inclusive approach. Despite this setback, the surrounding parkland maintains its appeal, with the natural beauty of the Clarence River location providing a pleasant backdrop. The playground issue stands as a notable detraction from what remains an otherwise attractive riverside setting. Families visiting with younger children may find limited play options available.
